MENTOR COMPUTER CONTROL SYSTEMS
Opus provide a specially designed Computer Control for Foam Machines.
Mentor includes a colour monitor, membrane keyboard and PLC (programmable logic controller). Opus have chosen state of the art components with excellent reliability and International servicing capabilities. The standard PLC used is Siemens system.
The Control system, specially designed by Opus, has the following machine functions:
- Writing and storage of formulations.
- Download of formulations to the machine.
- Automatic foaming start/stop.
- “On the fly” formulation adjustment.
- Automatic formulation change.
- Pressure, Temperature and Flow rate monitoring
- Fault indication.
- Report writing
